2012: February 2012 2/18/12: Did some small site cleaning up today (and a backup). The background has been improved, and the Rom Hacking page has been fixed, so that links work. Furthermore, some other text-based revisions have been made to the other pages, and my list of current projects have been updated. This year marks two milestones for my web stuff. For my blog, I will be reaching my 100th post, and furthermore, my site will be two years old. I have a surprise planned for that 100th post, so watch my blog! Next update to this site, I will add source code snippets, and maybe add collaspable sections on pages. 2/8/12: No, this site is not dead :)! I've just been busy lately (and a little bit lazy). Speaking about being busy, I have uploaded another beta release of TrigPak V3.0! Chapter 2 has been updated (the Polynomial and Rational expression sections), as well as another beta of the CPanel Library V2.0, required to work with the latest TrigPak beta. Check out the Ti-Calc section of the site. ETA of the final version of TrigPak V3.0 and CPanel Library V2.0 is either April or March. Also, for those who have noticed, some pictures and links have disappeared (esp in the Rom Hacking section). This is because I did some cleaning of my imageshack and mediafire accounts. Updated pictures and links will appear very soon. (I've been busy at the moment). Lastly, for those who have been wondering about why some of my programs are taking so long to finish, it is because of life and because of being almost overloaded with too many programming projects. I have now decided to prioritize my projects. For more info, check out my blog Signing off... ----------------------------- December 2011: Still trying to juggle all of my programming projects and final exams. Sadly, most of my projects might be finished sometime early next year, instead of at the end of 2011 as planned. Luckily, now that I'm in college, the semester ends before Christmas break, instead of after break, meaning I don't have to study for exams over break, meaning more time to work on my projects over break. There are currently no new public beta builds of projects, except for some VB projects Progress Report of my current projects: TIOS: CPanel Lib V2.0: Documentation, sampler programs, and coding are being wrapped up. Unless I find the need to create more macros, this project should be wrapped up soon! TrigPak V3.0: This project is 1/4 done :(. Still much work to do, but the work is easy (converting macro calls and some functions to the new CPanel Lib V2.0 standard, improving code, fixing bugs) EPak V1.0: Still need to fully test the programs and iron out bugs, especially since I recently converted macro calls and some functions to the new CPanel Lib V2.0 standard. Only one more program to create for the pak. This program, called AC, will deal with AC formulas VB: SMPSCalc V3.0: On the backburner indefinitely for now :(. Tamkis Lib V1.0: The classes have been dramatically reorganized, for better structuring. There are some empty classes, reserved for future methods that I might need. Moreover, there are some new methods. The latest beta build is available for download. EPak (PC) V1.0: Some basic capacitance formulas are now in some programs. Furthermore, all programs now utilize the latest build of Tamkis lib. The latest beta build is available for download. ------------------- November 2011: A working demo of CPanel Lib V2.0 and TrigPak V3.0 have been released both which are at Beta 1. Check out the details for both in the TiOS section! With final exams and project comming up, I'm trying to juggle all of my prog- amming projects. I will be focusing on my TiOS projects; everything else will be on hold. ------------------- October 2011: 10/10/11: I have finally created the Rom Hacking page for my website! Check out all of my hacks and resources at that page. In other news, the next release of CPanel Lib will be V2.0, because I am overhauling the "Macro" system. No longer will you need to inject/include macros into programs and bloat their size. Each macro is now its own prgm. EPak has been improved to the CPL V2.0 standard, and TrigPak will be updated to V3.0 to conform with this standard too. Both non demo releases should be finished by the end of this year. ------------------- September 2011: 9/27/2011: I have good news! A new program has been added to the PC ePak suite, Circuits. Circuits is a simple program which finds various information about the components in a series/parallel circuit. It is available in the WIP ePak (PC) Demo. Furthermore, Tamkis lib 0.25 r4 has been released. The equivalent program of Circuits for the calculator version of ePak will be uploaded into the demo soon, after I improve the "GUI" for the program. One more thing, this weekend, I am going to try to create my Rom hacking page, assuming that I have little to no homework for the weekend :P. Stay tuned! Tamkis 9/20/2011: Fixed a few broken links for my Ti-Calc projects in the Ti-section. Other than that, I have no news for right now, except that soon I will put a demo of CPanel Lib V1.25 and ePak in the calculator sections. 9/18/2011 Last week, I decided that I would port ePak for the Ti-calculators to PC, and port many CPanel Lib function/TiOS functions to PC. The former project is called ePak (PC), and the latter Tamkis Lib. Read more about both projects in the BASIC section. A demo of both is available there too. As promised, soon, I will add some source code snippets to my programming sections, and finish that Rom-Hacking page :). Tamkis ---------------- 9/13/2011: Good news! I finally was able to compile my latest PC game, Tower Tic Tac Toe, for x86/x64 machines! Read more about it in the BASIC section, and download it! Furthermore, I am still working on ePak for Ti83/84 calculators, and am working on updating CPanel Lib. So far, I have 2 new macros, and 2 new internal functions for CPanel Lib. More news is to come. Tamkis ----------------- 9/9/2011: Welcome to the grand re-opening of the ProgLog, version 2.0! After about half a year of inactivity on this site, I have decided to completly redo my website, by using a wysiwig HTML editor known as Pagebreeze. The pages have been completely redone, and have been updated to reflect my current programming projects. Programming categories on my website now include BASIC (QB4.5, QB64, VB10), Web programming (HTML/Javascript), TiOS (Ti-calculator programming), and also Rom hacking (Nintendo, Sega Mega Family). Please note that the ROM hacking page is not created yet, but will be soon. Check out all of the new pages and content! Since the last time I have updated this site, I have picked up a few new programming projects (see the bottom of this page for a complete list). For QB4.5/QB64, I am working on making a tic-tac-toe video game called Tower Tic Tac Toe, and have completed a Sega ROM hacking utility for calculating music/sfx pointers called SMPSCalc V2.0. For VB10, I am working on porting SMPSCalc to VB10, called SMPSCalc V3.0. Other than adding input validation and error checking, the VB version of SMPSCalc is basically finished. V3.5 will be the final version for the VB port, and should be finished before Christmas. For HTML, obviously, as mentioned before, I have rennovated the ProgLog, and have updated it to V2.0. Other than that, I don't do much HTML programming :P. For TiOS, I am working on a new programming pak called ePak. ePak, short for "Electronic Pak", will be a group of programs, which will be CPanel Lib compatible, for doing calculations in Electronics class. Lastly, for Rom hacking, I have completed a Sonic 2 ROM hack, called Sonic 2 Loco, and am working another Sonic 2 hack called MegaMan 2: The Robotnik Wars. I am also working on a SMW/SMA2:SMW hack called Super Mario Vanilla Twist. Details will be available once the ROM hacking page is open for business. Lastly, soon I will add programming tips for each programming language on my site. Hope to see you back soon! --Tamkis --The management ______________________________
